Yesterday I saw model of a water bear at the museum. I decided to google them and found some neat facts about these resilient creatures.
Did you know…
Waterbears can survive temperatures of close to absolute zero and as high as 300 degrees, withstand 1000 times more radiation than other animals, and even live a decade without water.
In 2007, water bears have also returned alive from studies in which they have been exposed to the vacuum of outer space for a few days in low earth orbit.

May perhaps be my favorite photo of the day. Taken with iPhone at American Museum of Natural History. Reminds me of my dog.

I’d just like to make an update on what’s been happening in my life since I graduated high school. I’m taking a painting class at the Art Students League and am also starting taekwondo. Aside from those two things, life has pretty much been relaxing for the past few weeks. I’m not really the kind of person who frequently posts updates about her life, but I figure: Hey, this is a blog…and it’s my blog. I should write things and draw things for me and if you like it, then good for you and if you don’t well that’s okay because it’s my blog. Most of the content here will be pretty casual and a lot of it will probably make no sense whatsoever, so enjoy what’s to come. Also, I don’t promise that I’ll continue to make updates like this one. I’m pretty unpredictable. Like the weather forecast… not.
